
With Attendant Care supports, our DSPs work 1:1 with individuals, in their homes or in the community. The services provided are designed to assist individuals in their goals to maintain or increase their level of independence in their home and community. We support clients in managing ADLs, expanding skills related to IADLs, and designing a targeted approach to equip clients with new skills, confidence, and trust in their capabilities. We know that all humans have boundless capacity for curiosity, joy, and agency. Through these supports, we can partner with our clients so they can be the architect of their ideal lives.
DSA services are focused on building community, a network of support, and a footprint in the world. We create a supportive and safe structure to empower participants to make friends, explore the world at large, and navigate healthy interpersonal relationships (including conflict!). We ensure that group creation is client-led, and develop community networks based on the interests, hobbies, and opportunities of those we support.
Our purpose in providing these services is for clients to achieve and maintain sustained paid employment that aligns with their strengths, skill sets, interests, and goals. Through Employment Path services, our team helps clients to explore their potential careers through meaningful experiences, targeted networking and skills building. Talented Job Coaches provide ongoing support for learning and maintaining employment skills for each person's role, identifying accommodations, and navigating workplace culture and soft skills. Lifesource clients currently work in a variety of industries, including hospitality, retail, food service, entertainment, and assisted living facilities.

Individuals are supported to live in a setting of their choosing: in a family home, an independent setting, or shared living arrangement. Clients in Supported Living Services are provided person-centered scheduled supports that are tailored to their specific needs, preferences, routines, and goals. DSPs are able to work with individuals in more comprehensive manner, often supporting clients whose lives are more complex and would benefit from a service line that encompasses multiple aspects of home and community support.

Lifesource is endorsed statewide for each service line. We currently work with Brokerages and County DD Services in Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties. We plan to expand services beyond the Portland Metro area, and welcome service inquiries and DSP employment inquiries from surrounding counties.
